I cant save any scores I get (some of which I have had to re-do because they are no longer in the highscore page but there are people there that have much lower scores than I had.

I just get Critical error   or   I cannot save scores by connecting direct I have to go through the arcade page which is what I am doing.

I am also having an awful lot of trouble getting onto the site a lot of the times it comes back access denied

the sites been a little slow last couple of days which is why you maybe havnt been able to get into it .
About saving scores, are you saying none of your scores save? and yes you have to go through the arcade page for the score to save.

I was connected to the arcade page but it said i wasnt.  I even had the welcome sign.

Might be a problem with your browser as other peoples scores seem to be saving ok. Have you made any adjustments to your secrurity settings or cookies recently?

I have the same trouble from time to time, some of the games just won't let me save the score, I play a game and when it is finished i hit submit score and all I get is a message say ... you can not link directly to this game ...... what's with that? wasn't even trying to link to the game i was trying to save a score ....... gets frustrating specially if you have just got the high score in a game ..... that is when it really p's me off   ..... i could have had a few more trophys if it wasn't for that stoopid message        
and no it isn't all the games just some of them

Its not perfect, in making it so it isnt easy to cheat the scores it can sometimes end up not letting you submit a real score fo different reasons.

1: you arent properly logged in.

2: you log in click open a game and then leave the site and go surfing about the web while playing in new window.

3: not clearing your cache and cookies from time to time.

4: if you are not the only one who plays here on your computer and you use different usernames etc. sometimes people dont log out or log out properly and other person logs in yet the cookies for the other person are still there and tis can cause confilcts.

5: Using the back button in your browser instead of starting the game again from the main page.

Thats just a few ideas, the majority of the time everything is fine and the people complaining have saved there scores many a time yet suddenly its "fix the site" attitude. If you dont like it, then dont come here, pretty simple.

personally I don't think there is anything wrong with the site, I was just wondering why I get that weird message from time to time. I actually thought it could be my computer until I saw someone else had a similar problem. If my score doesn't save to bad, I just go play another game and go back to the original one at a later time ...... if i can remember which one it was I was playing to start with

its nearly always down to the users computer. nearly always. it can be that someone tries a new "PC security tool" and disables cookies (which this site needs to work properly) .

Alot of people also use the back button to replay a game instead of playing it again from the games page, then when the score doesnt save properly they get annoyed.

What I do when I play in a new window is just click the link again on the page and the game straight away reloads. If you play in the " same window" then click the play again link.

If your score isnt saved yet theres 15 other people playing with no probs then think what could be causing it. Did you disconnect then reconnect the net? have you disabled cookies? have you not reloaded a page from the site for a awhile? try rfreshing the page so the system knows you are still online and logged in.

Theres just little things like that that can cause your score not to be saved.
