Might be time to upgrade your OS. if your comp is new I believe 98 is starting to have problems running on the later hardware.

or if your comp is old your hardware could be failing due to that.

I know it's not much help but I just wanted to put my two cents in and fark up your day, making you think you might have to spend a truck load of money, but at least your no longer worried about the exception error aye    Smilie_PDT  Smilie_PDT  Smilie_PDT
