well i have been using winmx to get my music from the internet and to cut a long story short, it is not working anymore and i think i may have to start paying for it if i want to use it.
i have looked into  a few of the sites where you can download unlimited songs for about $22.
i just wanna know if anybody has an opinion on these sites and if they are value for money and also if there's a catch?
is anyone a member of one of them also pls......

Keep looking. There should be a place you can dwnld free music from. do a search on google. theres usually at least one place u can tap into.
but be careful of certain sites renown for spyware and viruses-we got a trojan from downloading music from Kazaa.

My daughter had WinMX on my computer and the thing annoyed me with problems plus it was slow at downloading.

I went and got Limewire free, and searched for limewire pro with it and upgraded.

I notice thats something people don't think of. You got WinMX free so you didn't have to pay for songs, But did you do a search for winMX pro so you don't have to pay for that?.

Silly question really, but I'm surprised that people don't use their free programmes to search for the pro version straight away.

Theres an idea for you. Aye.
