Post Taiwanese Foods
Anyone help me I would like to find out what kind of foods they serve up in Taiwan.  I am having 2 11year old exchange students for 3 weeks from next friday and would like to serve at least one Taiwanese meal

I agreee with Jasmine - just serve them our Kiwi food. It's the whole point of coming over you know? Otherwise just stir frys and what not? Or you could even get them involved and ask them when they come out? They may only be 11, but they might have some cooking skills or ideas for you. They might enjoy watching you attempt to make on of their favourite meals Smilie_PDT

I have a few friends from Taiwan, and there's nothing that they can't (or don't lol) eat. If there is something they can't eat, the people you are getting them on exchange through should let you know

yeah I have been doing it for 5 years now. Mostly I have Japanese students and boy they are so terrific.  I am still in contact by email with about 95 percent of them. even the first one I ever had.

This is the first time I have has anyone from Taiwan.  I really enjoy learning all about their countries and the Japanese are just such loving people

Yea we had one girl from Japan quite a few years ago. They're so good and respectful!

We've also had a lovely Indonesian girl for a while, now we have one girl from Hong Kong who we've had for about 2 years, and one from China, who has been with us for about a year.
